Tourism and visits to Lørenskog

Attractions

Lørenskog has high standards golf courses at Losby, consisting of two separate courses, an 18 hole championship course (Østmork) and a 9 hole course (Vestmork). There's also a floodlit driving range.
More information at the homepage of Losby Golf & Country Club

Most of Lørenskog consists of forest, which is part of the larger "Østmarka" forest area.  If you like outdoor activities, Østmarka has almost limitless possibilities for walking, cycling, skiing and paddling.

Another point of interest is Lørenskog church, a medieval stone church built in the 12th-13 century, lying close to the St. Olav spring, named after King Olav II and said to have healing properties.
At Hanaborg there are several burial mounds from the bronze age.

Hotels and accommodation

You can choose to sleep at the fashionable Losby Gods, situated next to the golf course and close to the forest, or at the more central Thon Hotel Triaden, with easy access to public transport.
